Year 9
½ day or evening conference prior to students
taking their options - in order to try to encourage them to take
GCSE PE as well as educating them on their opportunities within
the sporting industry.
Can be student based or parent/student based.
Topics include GCSE modules, future academic opportunities and jobs
in the sports industry.
Year 9 -11
4 Specialised ½ day or evening conferences
in specialist area of student's choice.
Topics may include: Sports Management, Physiotherapy,
Sports Science etc.
Year 11
2-day 'Sports Academics' Workshop that includes:
HE and FE sector,
results and courses
Specific module activities - Sport Psychology,
Nutrition etc.
University Scholarships - Opportunities abroad
Jobs in the Industry
- Maximum 30 students per conference
